About this Workshop To engage children in the clay experience the workshop starts with games and activities where kids can play and mess around with clay. After this first contact, I show them different ways of making and exploring the material, guiding and helping each person according to their needs and personal interests. Various classes are designed and programmed for children aged 4, 5 and 6 years old. Parents must be with them and they can participate too if they wish. Once pieces are finished and completely dry, they are fired in the kiln at 1000ºC, so that the clay becomes ceramic. This last process could take one or two weeks. The workshop is held in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, and has all the necessary tools and materials. No prior pottery experience is required.Next datesDurationLocation
